
6 months ago, I didn’t have a care in the world, I ate and drank whatever I wanted. My favorites were rum and coke, sour cream and cheddar chips, white chocolate raspberry cheese cake and spiced gum drops to name a few! What is better than a Coke with Kracken Rum after a long week! Well it had to change.
In March, the wake-up call came from a doctor asking me if I would prefer to take 20 years of my life while eating all these deliciously dangerous foods or maybe I would prefer to live a little longer and happier! And thus, I learned I would need to give up not only my refreshingly satisfying Coca-cola but all sugar, caffeine , and most carbs.

This lead to my decision to give up caffeine immediately and save the sugar and carbs restriction for after our April vacation to Moab (If you have never been definitely put this destination on you bucket list, it is a ton of fun!). The last 6 months have been a roller coaster of ups and downs leading me in the right direction, but definitely not a perfect journey. Which 6 months later is leading me to today!

I have been pondering this for a while now: How do I commit to a deeper, stronger dedication to the healthy life style I have begun but need to take to the next step ?!?
This is what I have come up with so far:
- Find resource(s) for Keto recipes that are also sugar-free and taste good
- Create a database of my favorite recipes that are diet friendly.
- Find (or create) an app or tool to help track favorite recipes and food, make meal plans, grocery list , and best prices for groceries
- Do the research on savings and deals to make this diet and the supplements work within my budget
